Everything is Everyone and Each One is All

Greetings to everyone here and I hope to be able to add to this small group. I get lost in large groups so this suits me well enough. I am also on two other 'lists' or groups of people that I have known for years. Some of these people I have managed to meet during my travels around the continent. However, now I am disabled and quite limited in many ways. I do have my own experiences and stories about abductions, aliens, UFO's, and the unexplained. I do try to be realistically practical about things and prefer to see things for myself before speaking out about anything, so I do have my own opinions about things.
Take care for now,
Cathy

Years ago, I had some interesting experiences occur in my life. At the time, I didn’t have a care nor the mind to consider implications of those amazing experiences. Well, now here it is, I am getting on in years and I have stopped to consider things from a different perspective. What those events in my life were all about is a question for the experts. But, the underlying theme was that there was a question of time and timetravel. This is the simple part now, but it grows ominously complex from here.

In one incident, I was sitting under a tree on a bright sunny afternoon. I had been daydreaming and was in no mood to be interrupted. But, there were three young teenagers making their way up the hill to me. I continued to sit quietly until the three came up to me and asked me if I was the one. The one? I couldn’t understand what they were making plain English words do. So, I asked them to explain themselves.

The three had been down at a large lake and having fun. Out of the water walked a young girl about twelve years old. She just appeared in a bright light and stayed there for a few minutes, floating on top of the lake surface in a very bright ball of light. The dazzling light faded rapidly to leave the girl standing on the little waves of the lake. Suddenly, like stepping off a raft, the young girl slipped down into waist deep water without so much as a splash. She stood motionless for a few moments before she began to wade towards shore. The young girl walked over to the kids that were playing on the beach. The first words out of her mouth were to the effect that she asked where she was and what year it was. The kids were dumbfounded by the young girl.

The young girl told them as much as she could about herself. She said that she was from one of the states. She described her hometown as well as she could. For all of that, she didn’t know just how she came to be where she was now. It was as if she had suddenly become unglued in the river of time that carries everything and everyone along at the same rate. For whatever reason, she was drifting around, not knowing where nor when her momentary existence would show up next. It was all very disconcerting to her. The three kids listened intently to the strange girl from the lake. They questioned her as well as they could, thinking of all of the differences they could see and notice about the manners, speech, and clothes of the young girl. None of the four could think of an acceptable explanation for the unexplained appearance of so obviously a displaced young person

The kids took her with them. They left the area of the lake and walked into town. The walk took them several hours. All the while the young girl insisted that she didn’t live in this town, nor this country. She told the kids of all different kinds of things she was familiar with in her life. Yet, her life was so far from and different from what kind of life that she could observe She was at a complete loss as to how and why she was suddenly so out of her own hometown, her own life.

In the small town, the four stopped at a Dairy Queen to rest and replenish themselves. They drank cokes and ate slices of pizza for nourishment. All the while, they sat and talked about everything that came to mind. About half an hour later, the four left the Dairy Queen, headed further into the little urban sprawl of the small town. Along the way, they met friends and acquaintances whom they questioned openly. Eventually, one such friend knew of someone who would surely know about this sort of thing who lived up on a mountain to the north east of town. With that information, the four set off in the general direction of the mountain.

The walk across town was not without incident. The four met a number of others along the way, stopped frequently to rest and talk about the strange goings-on. No one knew of anything about such unusual circumstances, but it seemed that all were in agreement that someone who lived up on the mountain would certainly know about the facts of the situation. And so, the walk continued as the direction became more evidently clear as to where to go. The four made their way along at the best rate as they could manage. Still, it was a considerable hike and took some time in the accomplishment of it.

At long last, the four came to a big white house off to one side of the gravel road leading to the mountaintop some fourteen miles distant. By now, the little group had walked about eight miles from the sandy beaches of the lake where the girl had appeared. As the altitude increased, their resting became more frequent, their pace slowed considerably. It became a great effort to keep walking along, all the while they hoped that the ‘someone’ of the mountain would at least know some answers to the questions in their minds.

The strange girl was left standing on the side of the road as the three went to the white house to ask about the person who seemed to know so much about everything. The lady of the house directed the three to the back of the house, through the apple orchard, and further to the top of a ridge not far beyond. The three set out through the high grass between the apple trees, not knowing who or what to look for. They were puffing loudly as they approached where I was sitting under my favorite tree.

I greeted the town kids coolly, answered a few of their questions quickly enough. One of the kids turned to go and fetch the strange girl from the side of the road. The young girl had grown bored and curious. So, she had begun to make her way towards the house that was my home. As it happened, my Mom was in the kitchen for one reason or another. She saw the young girl walk past the kitchen door, didn’t recognize who it was and went to investigate. For a few minutes, the young girl talked to my Mom before the young boys came in search of her. They discovered the young girl talking to my Mom and after a quick explanation, whisked her away to where I was still sitting.

The little group came up to the hill towards me. I sat still as I had done before. They approached me until we were a comfortable distance from each other. I greeted them with a cool attitude, and they replied in the same tones. A few more words were said before they began the explanation as to how and why they were here, asking me for advice and information about something they definitely could not understand. I was the one who played with the lights on the mountain, so I would know about everything. They demanded that I tell them everything about what I knew about the girl who had appeared at the lake so mysteriously.

My explanation was short and sweet. It was not entirely what the little group was prepared to hear, so there was some discussion about everything. It seemed to me that a bubble of time had formed and tunneled its way across space, distance, and time. The girl was from the past and from a far-away part of the world. It was a lucky thing we all spoke English, or at least a dialect of English. There would have been much greater confusion had the girl not been able to communicate at all.

I didn’t know exactly how or why the little bubble of time had been created. I only knew that in a short time, the bubble of energy still encasing the girl would soon return her to the time she was from. I was somehow assured of this fact even as I offered my explanation of information to the group standing around me. They were awed by my cool attitude and the amount of information I offered to them. Still, it did nothing to alter the course of events as I had outlined it. They would have to return the girl to the lake area as soon as possible.

The little group of adventurers left me sitting at my favorite tree. They hurried back down the hill almost exactly the same way they had come. In a matter of only minutes, they were well out of sight from where I sat on the hill. I thought about the whole incident for a long time afterwards. As for the boys, well, they did get the girl to the lake by sunset. She waded well out into the water and stood waiting. The last rays of the sunset reflected off the lake where she had been. She was shivering as she waited in one moment. In the next moment, she had disappeared completely, without so much as a ripple in the water. The unknown girl was never heard from or seen since that incident.

Many anomolies must pass us by everyday without being noticed. I'm glad you were able to catch one and share it with us.

Unfortunately, there is always something going on that we hardly ever become aware of because of our limitations. Even so, we do recognize enough to see incidents that do affect us. Most of the time we only suffer poor health by over exposures, genetic altering, and so on.
